Registered, Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, Lindsay Schmitz specializes in weight management, disease prevention, plant-forward eating, maternal, infant and childhood nutrition, sports dietetics and non-toxic living.

Lindsay will help you understand how to live a healthier life, choosing whole, nourishing food, encouraging movement and ridding your home and personal care products of toxic chemicals.

Our negative behavior choices affect our health, leading to obesity, clogged arteries, sore joints and the list goes on and on. How do we respond? We watch what we eat, exercise and avoid smoking. We avoid junk food, soda, alcohol and drugs that compromise our health and well-being.

But what about the products we put directly onto our bodies and use throughout our homes? Many of those products contain harmful toxins that are affecting our health in equally devastating ways, and you may not even know it.

Harmful toxins that mainstream manufacturers use in their products, including fragrance, parabens and triclosan, have been linked to chronic diseases like breast cancer, diabetes, obesity, asthma and eczema. Avoiding these toxins can help prevent these chronic diseases, and eliminate the expense of healthcare that comes with treating them.

The dietitian at Live Smarter Nutrition will provide you with an individualized nutrition plan based on your needs and goals.

Lindsay takes a whole body, non-diet approach in helping you reach your nutrition and health goals. You will NOT be expected to eat like a bird, give up all the food you enjoy or count calories. You will be expected to be ready and motivated for positive lifestyle changes to help you be the healthiest version of yourself possible.

Live Smarter Nutrition & Wellness accepts the above insurance plans. The number of visits allowed per year varies based on specific group plans. If you carry a different insurance, DON’T worry! Out of pocket package options are also available. Contact Lindsay for further information and rates.
